A&D sales support coordinator

Provide support to A&D Sales team in several areas described below.    

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

A&D Development (Shadow with A&D Salesperson)

Perform a variety of tasks to help support relationships with A&D firms:

  • Attend weekly internal lunch & learns/wine & cheese presentations to gain/maintain product knowledge

  • Coordinate showroom presentations

  • Attend industry networking events

  • Participate as needed in client visits to enhance the customer experience   

  • Maintain customer & project information in HubSpot CRM tool

  • Assist in brainstorming for internal meetings, A&D meetings, HMI meetings, etc.

  • Create meaningful A&D programs and events

  • Develop and coordinate the “leave behinds” for A&D firms by setting up regular meetings, doing market research on ideas, costing, etc. (along with marketing team)

  • Provide specification/pricing for A&D firms that request furniture for them personally

Material Library

  • Assist in pulling and requesting samples for finish meetings

  • Order and send samples as necessary

  • Schedule vendor meetings as necessary at Thomas Interiors or at vendor showrooms

Specifications/Sales/RFP Support

  • Assist with writing proposals/quotes

  • Assist with formatting and assembling of bid submissions

  • Help source and select ancillary (product) specifications and pricing

  • Request vendor quotes when needed

  • Provide CAP 20/20 specs with discounts (and margin if requested)

  • Provide content for PowerPoint/Lookbook presentation

  • Provide alternate and value engineered selections when applicable

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Commitment to providing the highest level of design service

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently

  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and ability to work with little to no supervision

  • Positive, efficient team player with good leadership skills

  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with individuals at various levels of an organization both within and outside the company

  • Minimum of 2 years corporate design or furniture experience preferred

  • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree required
